Our four legged family members.
In 2024, our focus on horse interaction will primarily offer guests the opportunity to observe our majestic equine companions as you explore the ranch. While we’re not yet equipped for hands-on interactions this year, we are excited to announce that by Spring 2025, we will enhance our facilities to allow for more meaningful engagement with our gentle giants. Looking ahead, we also plan to introduce specialized horse healing workshops, where you can experience the therapeutic benefits of connecting with these remarkable animals. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop these offerings!

Horse therapy
Horse interaction therapy, also known as equine-assisted therapy, offers a range of physical, emotional, and psychological benefits. Here’s a closer look at how interacting with horses can be beneficial and a valuable approach for many individuals.
-
Horses are highly intuitive and responsive animals, making them excellent at helping individuals connect with and understand their emotions. This interaction can lead to increased self-awareness, reduced anxiety, and improved mood. The non-judgmental presence of horses provides a safe space for people to explore and process their feelings.
-
Engaging with horses requires clear, confident communication, which can translate to better interpersonal skills. Individuals often learn to express themselves more effectively and develop better listening skills through their interactions with these animals.
-
Successfully working with a horse can boost self-esteem and confidence. The sense of accomplishment that comes from building a bond with and managing a horse can empower individuals and help them overcome self-doubt.
-
The calming presence of horses and the tranquil environment of equine therapy settings help reduce stress and promote relaxation. Spending time with horses can lower cortisol levels and induce a sense of calm and well-being.
-
For individuals with social challenges, interacting with horses can improve social skills and foster better relationships. The structured activities involved in horse therapy encourage teamwork, patience, and empathy.
-
Caring for and working with horses requires concentration and attention to detail, which can help improve focus and cognitive function. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with attention disorders or those recovering from trauma.
